Sometimes it is but more recently (Last year) it's about the places and the chance to get out and cache with good friends who are as mad as us!

Because they are there, who needs more. But also there is the numbers thing, and it gets the family out and about, with the occasional meeting of great new people

It gets us all out as a family. And we have some ring in caching kids that we take as well. Prev we were just sitting around home. For us its a family time.

Caching makes me boldly go where I've never gone before.

Also, it get the reluctant spouse away from the tv. I have to promise him that he'll be home by the time the football comes on if Collingwood is playing and it's televised, though.
