Have you cached on Christmas Day?

Post by Freddo » 23 August 09 8:25 pm

The latest Find stats gen macro in GSAK shows the number of caches you have found on the 366 calender days of the year. So have you cached on Christmas Day? Your birthday? Your wedding anniversary? Your wedding day? Your wife's birthday? Another significant day?

All of the above with the exception of our wedding day but only because we didn't know about caching! What better way to get out with your loved ones

Facitman and I set the Australian Record for most caches found in a day on my 40th Birthday 8)

44 caches in 18 hours in February 2005 ... the recent so called record setters don't know how easy they've got it :P

Christmas day? Yes.
Birthday? Mrs Wibble's, yes. Mr Wibble's, no, for some reason.
Wedding Anniversary? Haven't had one yet.
Wedding Day? Yes. http://www.geocaching.com/seek/log.aspx ... 4179fef05d
New Year's Day? Yes.
Graduation day? Yes. Both Mrs Wibble's http://www.geocaching.com/seek/log.aspx ... f96fbfa868 and Dr Wibble's http://www.geocaching.com/seek/log.aspx ... d09d56f466

Not sure what that says about our obsession level.....

Definitely. Christmas especially, figured it might be the best time to get some of those pesky muggle infested inner city caches in Adelaide and Sydney.

Not having family close by tends to make those days just like any other though.

I've cached on Christmas Day. It was a great way to kill some time between engagements.

I plan to cache on Christmas Day this year - what better way to amuse myself while everyone else in the family sleeps off all the excess food they ate :D

And my birthday? Well don't you get to choose the activity you'd most like to do to celebrate your birthday?

Best time to look for those pesky inner city micros!
Spent a couple of hours caching in the CBD after dropping the other half off at work at 7am Christmas Day a few years ago. Lot less onlookers than usual for some reason!

Yes I have.
Whenever I hear that song "Do they know it's Christmas" I always think :-k 'Do they care?' and 'Have they had enough of having Christian values rammed down their throat?' and 'Who are we to tell other people how to live?' but I digress :-#
