I think that due to the confusion everyone that Tried to post tonight can claim a smiley. I now understand why getting post up was difficult at times, it would seam that all you needed to do was keep pushing "submit" until you post was accepted. At the end of the day I am not going to check everyone's name off.

Not everyone posts a 'Will attend'.

Thanks for having that - I enjoyed it a lot - nice 'seeing' so many friends logged in at once. And a great venue for an event!! :D

Tried using my wireless from a carpark, no luck. Went inside and risked looking like a geek, but still didn't work. Went out in the street and sat at a bus stop, and still no post. Gave up, and came home to the desktop, and see I should have kept pressing Submit. Oh well - I know my name showed as one of the logged on users.

A Positive Caching Experience (strangely, posting this is not amongst them :) ), was showing a muggle friend a cache last night, and watching it dawn on her that this strange activity I had been explaining was something you do in the real world, not behind a keyboard.

I did see you name online so I believe you, you can still post and claim a smiley, from what we worked out you needed to keep pushing the submit button until you post was accepted.

Aaaaaaarrrrrrggggghhhhh!

I was there, I posted but now I see it didn't go through.

It was still fun to see everyone online though. :D

I'd better post my positive caching experience now then:

It'd have to be caching with the young daughter. She's only 18 months but loves the outdoors already. Any daughter - father time is precious but this gets us out and about to places we'd never have gone otherwise. If only I could stop her trying to eat the odd bit of swag!
A close second is any team caching. Something I don't do enough of.

Thanks again to everyone who got involved, there have been 103 attended posts so far, that includes a couple from NZ and at least one from USA. I think that we can call this event a success. I will look over the figures etc. over the next couple of days, as I said earlier Camstal won the FTF coin. I hope to draw the others tomorrow night once everyone has finished logging their attendance. Thanks again to all that attended.

Home coords: S 32° 32.000 E 115° 42.000
Most positive experience: My grandson is just getting to a good age where he enjoys coming caching with me and finding hidden treasure. I keep a supply of toys in my pack for swaps and which I will also sneak into a cache if it looks like it is light on, and watch his pleasure as he picks through potential new toys.

I tried posting on my iPhone while on the train home, but it just kept going back to review, no matter how many times I pressed submit. :?

I knew it was going to be hard - and it does not look like our post got through  - The ironic thing is that iI was running the communications for a multi senario night for my SES unit at the time and I knew that I would have 3G issues so I asked my queen to do the post and she did but didn't hit the submit button multiple times oh well. I was certianly with you all in the virtual world.

“Positive Caching Experience” - I love spending more time and involving dad (king Solomon snr), we are in such a busy world and going for little walks and being rewarded by a simley.

We tried - thought we had messed it up as we are generally lurkers. I did see the submit button was still there but I didn't want to multipost and by the time we checked all the pages to see if our post was there the time was up. (I suppose you can check who was online at the time anyway so we will post again now.)

Positive caching
We love the fact that we are out there enjoying our city and surrounds and we can take our "hobby" away with us on holidays.

Have a look here to see where we all were, our American visitor is not represented here though.
