Cache size for "fake object" geocaches
Cache size for "fake object" geocaches
The Wiki is quite clear about the size limits for standard cache containers to decide whether they are micro, small etc., but I couldn't find anything to answer the following question: where the cache is a fake (bolt, rock, pine cone . . ), is the size you specify for the cache the size of the object or the size of the hole in it for the cache contents?

Re: Cache size for "fake object" geocaches
Have to agree with caught@work. Its the size of the log book .We have located a few caches that were described as "regular'.
They were mints tins or similar used as illusions in logs or rocks the size of a shoe box.
Then the cache page description had it as a regular due to the illusion size ,when actually the cache was only a mints tin. So,we agree ,it has to be classed as a micro by the log book if its small and all sizes should be determined by the log book container accordingly, not the illusion its in.They are always great illusions still the same and always enjoyable.
