54 currently but a few more than that as "First Day Finds" and not the "First to Find".

A Question to those in the know.

What is the criteria for a cache to be counted as a "First Day Find" not a "First to Find"

1. Found on the same date it is published?

OR

2. Found within 24 hours of it being published?

A first day find is a find on the first day of it being found

e.g. It's published today. No-one finds it for 5 days. On the 6th day, 3 people head out and find it. All 3 are considered "first day finders" as you all found it on the day it was first found.

We have a little over 60 FTF's. We seem to have backed off a bit since we moved up to Newie.

In future you can automate this by putting *FTF* in your log when you log a GC cache.

Thanks, I didn't know this even existed. By the way, nil FTF for me so far.
