Is this just coincidence, after Bronze's return to the forums I was reading the NRMA Open Road magazine...
Morpeth Weird and Wonderful Novelty Teapot Exhibition
August 20-30
A staggering 3524 teapots on display and for display from all over Australia and around the world. Watch artists painting teapots, enjoy tea tastings, and browse tea accessories and 150 tea cosies. Morpeth Gallery T 4933 1047 or morpethgallery.com

Too weird!
An event for Bronze

Re: An event for Bronze
Hey I just figured that you used to like posting teapots
Now just imagine the fun you could have with digital photos of another 3524 to use! And it's even in the right neck of the woods for you these days.
I might even come up for a visit on one of those weekends. They are both free and could be fun to post on facebook. If it's warm enough a night camping under the stars somewhere before or after a visit to the teapots. I figure an event like that has to be worth seeing at least once - why - because there will be some weird ones there

...and some pretty weird teapots too.
I can hear the grinding cogs from the newbies going "whats with the teapots".
I used to post them when things got heated as a symbol of...
"Ok. Lets just calm down and discuss this like adults".
9.374 out of to 10 times flames, flare up and arguments came from a simple misunderstanding.
So I'd post a random teapot to make people stop and reread the post and either agree to disagree or agree to have a cup of tea and just chilax a little.
Most of the time it worked.
well I think it did. it worked for me. I was in the kitchen boiling the jug while someone elses world fell apart.

OK, that's weird! The teapot, not your post
That's the problem with forums and email as someone else commented in the other thread. No body language and intonations to know when someone is joking or whatever. But then those of us that have using it or similar technology for 25 years get that. Damn, I'm admitting I am getting old
