Perfect, assuming of course its being hidden the other way round, and not somewhere where water can get up from underneath.

Perhaps you could have put that in your first post.

I had no idea what it was stuck on, or where it had been hidden!

It's hard to discuss things without any information!

This depends very much on where it is placed. If on a quite back street where safe to look a very good cache. On a busy highway, were you could get run down, a bad cache.
But hey thats just my thoughts. Like the camo.

Hi, The micro looks like it's well done and might be fun to find. I would suggest a VERY judicious placement (RE: safety).

If the cache is one that you've found and are concerned about, I'd need more info. to give an opinion.

I saw this same hiding method on a caching story from the USA when I first started caching (it was early 04 from memory). The cache's name was "Reflector" and it was placed in the road on an over pass bridge. The reporter was being shown what caching was all about and he looked all over the railings and posts, but couldn't find anything. Then the owner said - think about the name! Still no idea. So the owner waited for the traffic to pass and dived onto the centre of the road and pulled the cache out. The reporter couldn't stop laughing!

I never found out what Groundspeak's position on this hiding method was. I would think though if the terrain rating was high enough it would alert cachers to the dangers. However in this case maybe a high terrain rating would encourage cachers to go over the side of the bridge  In which case the hint should be something like - "Don't go over the side of the bridge"

I like it.

Just a further note.
The colour, and placement, of road reflectors (at least in the area where I live) provides information like the location of underground fire hydrants, to public works and emergency services workers.

On a road with regular traffic I would say bad cache. I suspect the RTA would agree with me if you are adding reflectors or modifying existing ones.

If it was placed elsewhere.... maybe a car park or closed road or something I would probably think different.

Bad cache, I suggest that you rethink the concept of how you place caches.
