Geocaching was on NBN news tonight. I wonder if the cache they found will still be there tomorrow or if it was a plant. http://www.nbntv.com.au/index.php/2009/ ... -and-seek/

That cache was placed in December so wasn't a plant for the news. It is at the busiest intersection in Newcastle so I think the Muggle factor just went up on it.

Wow! Hope that's not their usual hunting habits! Not exactly discreet! LOL
Made for a good fluff piece though.
Any forum members want to own up to being in it?

Hopefully their hunting style was only for the camera  does make us look a tad silly in what we do as most will think we are all the same

They "found" it in the big "ball of wool" thing. Sticks his arm in there, pulls the cache out and places it back again. Whether this is the REAL hiding spot or not i'm not sure, but if it is i'm sure it will go missing soon.

Spot on, and yes it is the real hiding spot. You can actually see the cache when passing in the car if you look carefully enough.

Only if you're the passenger; the driver will be watching the road, of course...
