Is Wheres George still working?

Post by Bundyrumandcoke » 08 April 09 12:33 am

Can anyone get the Wheres George site up? I have a note to log, but the site just sits there blank when I have tried to open it the last few times. A link would be useful.

Cheers
Bundy

You could try;
Shift-F5 to freshly reload the page.
Clear offline files in your browser.
Clear cookies. (Mmmmm, Cookies!)

That's it. I'm out of ideas...

Good luck!

I have had the same problem with a few of the pages lately. Done but screen is blank. Might be a bug in GC php.
Mind you, I am stuck with iexplorer V6 at work which may be the culprit. (I also cannot use the Garmin Download tool from the page also...V6 limitation)

EDIT

oops realised you were talking about an off GC website....

Weird. Still working fine here. I don't use the site so wouldn't have any cookies for it presumably.
I'll post a few of the other links for you to try:

Just had a look in their forum and there doesn't seem to be any complaints about a problem.
I'm using Firefox 3.0.8

This is getting stranger and stranger by the day. I have tried to log on at various times over the last few days, all to no avail. I have just tried on a reletives computer, and the same thing, it just sits there and does nothing.

Yeah, I'm getting the blank page as well. Page source is empty, no HTML at all. So the web server seems to be spitting out, well nothing. Could be a problem with their PHP setup.

For what it's worth (about AU$1.38 at the moment!), out of curiosity I just tried it on the iPaq (Windows Mobile 5) and got...

Blank page in Mobile Internet Explorer and....

Blank page in Minimo...

Seems as though things may have been fixed??

Just tried to access the page from work using IE 6 and all worked fine.

Maybe time to try again and see if you can get access now.

Cheers,
Ksix
