Need a pretty sizeable cache to stash that one in.

Is there a cache size option of 'shipping container'? :P

History shows that some n00b will grab it, and put it in their garage for a year!

That's not as silly as it looks. While in Canada, I found/discovered TWO Travel Bugs that were actual cars of the local cachers group, CCC (Canada Capital Cachers).<p>

Check the following TB's and the pictures of them<p>

<b><a href="http://www.geocaching.com/track/details ... f6511ee6ed" target="_blank"><font color=blue>Model12-mobile</font></a></b><br> and<br>

<b><a href="http://www.geocaching.com/track/details ... 16066a12da" target="_blank"><font color=blue>To the Cachemobile</font></a></b><p>

They are a fanatic mob of about 40 people. (And fun to be with)<p>Pic below of back of Model12-mobile<p>

<p> This is a photo of my cachemobile which is also a travel bug.</p>

<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/jardry/3277558810/" title="CACHE 1 by Jardry, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3500/327 ... b0aacb.jpg" width="500" height="375" alt="CACHE 1" /></a>

<p>Considering the popularity of personalised number plates and that geocaching has been around for 8 or so years, I was most surprised that the personalised plate was still available.</p>

<p>Does any know a friendly signwriter in Adelaide who could make up a static sign with the travel bug logo and TB number that I can put on the window of my cachemobile?</p>

I seem to recall that you can actually buy TB that are designed to go on your car.

Travel Bug Decals

Post by Jardry » 15 March 09 5:11 pm

I've been in contact with someone on another forum who makes up decals.

They have made up for me two decals with my TB logging code for $22.50 inclusive of postage.

If you are interested in making your cachemobile a TB, PM me and I'll provide you with the email address.

The decal is white on a clear background, suitable for placement on windows or panels. To remove the decal all that is required is a little heat (from a hairdryer) to dissolve the adhesive.

The decal will be 110mm wide by 225mm high.

You will need your own TB dog tag - the price is for the decal only.
