I have lost my footing and balance at many Victorian caches.
Don't fancy my chances of ever getting 'em back to be honest.

I may have found your footing this morning Becca. <p>Whilst working on a site I came across a footing maybe 30cm wide, 4 meters long and approx 20cm deep ... Sound familiar

Hmm, doesn't sound like me to be honest.
I'm more of a 6cm*23cm .
It
does sound like the "footing" left behind when my brother falls from his racing bike though. I'll check to see if he has been in your area.

I have found plenty of golf balls while geocaching near all kinds of parks.
If anyone has lost any while geocaching drop me a note and I might be able to return them.

I have FOUND that when you stick your bare arms into some of these cache locations, they come out covered in blood.
I have FOUND that you can't always park near enough to the cache location.
I have FOUND that wearing study footwear is better than runners that leak and you destroy 5 pairs of socks in a week.
I have FOUND $10.00 near one cache.
I have FOUND that when you take two girls (4 and 12) cache hunting you'd better be prepared to take along twice as many swaps as normal as they both want a treasure.
So, all in all, I have FOUND more than I have LOST.

I too have found a few golf balls (especially near
Hole-In-One) ... small, round, white, got dimples all over 'em
... anyone lost any sounding like these?

I recently found a rather good looking pair of thermal / ski gloves on my way back from my namesake cache
Here is the other end of the track, Ginger.
I'm sure they weren't there when I went to the cache, so I left them in place figuring the owner might be nearby having a "nature break". They were too large for me anyway.

Wife lost sunnies looking for a cache that was no longer there.
Have lost my phone many times, but always found it eventually.

Penny left her sunnies behind at a cache - when we had to bolt after being disturbed by some undesirables that were up to no good.
We didn't consider them lost because we knew exactly where they were!!
All thanks to Liz & Bruce for logging the cache after us and returning the sunnies.

I found a Garmin GPS a few months ago. I looked previous finders of the cache on the day and emailed a few of them to check that they have all their caching equipment is I have found something someone has lost and if they can correctly identify the piece of the equipment I will arrange a time to reuturn it. The owner emailed me and the gps was returned safely.
