GSAK file of Tasmnia camping sites
Hi,
I am currently putting together a GSAK file of the free and cheap camp sites in Tasmania. This is largely based on this book:
and follows their research into Tasmanian camping. The file includes vital information like whether there are toilets, running water or hot or cold showers.
The reason I mention this is I'd be willing to swap this file for any camping gpx files for other states of Australia, or even give it to anyone who wants it really. Currently the file has 94 entries and is 174 kb in size. It covers camping around the entire coast, but has not got a lot of the larger caravan/ camping sites as yet.

technically I don't think this is a GSAK file ..
GSAK uses GPX yes, but its not owned by GSAK ie GPX is a XML STD format which can be used by any s/w.

Cheap and cheerful
I've been making use of the hospitality of Forestry Tasmania some nights. Tonight is one of them
Lovely bush campsite on a ridgetop to the east of Ross
It's a little bit misty up here, but the peace and quiet is nice

I've been putting together a set of campsites and campgrounds essentially in Victoria that I have visited. There's about 40 at the moment and you are welcome to them. In fact I had been thinking about the possibility of sharing them.
One issue - what about some sort of standardisation? eg. I've been using different symbols for them so they show up on the GPS, plus I try to take notes about things like toilet facilities and access.
