Hmmm,
I worked all day on Monday (37), Tuesday (38.9) but today I knocked off early as it was bloody hot.

Not hot enough to not pick up a few caches on the way home though....

Sydney has escaped most of this heatwave at the moment.
I went caching today and it topped out at 31 degrees at Richmond, which is the heat capital of Sydney.
Tomorrow we may get a balmy 36 out that way. Sydney is often split into the cool coast and the baking west, guess where I live, yep, the baking west, no AC, but we have a solar designed house that rarely exceeds 28 degrees inside on the worst days.
Maybe I will cache the coast this Summer!

It's not often that Darwin is cooler than (most of) the rest of the country... 25 degrees now.. was probably about 33 or 34 today, bucketed down rain from about 1 until 3... and has been lovely and cool ever since :)

Mr Parrot went caching on wednesday night and seemed a bit hot when he got home. I've spent the last two days at the west lakes resort at a conference, where they have very effective a/c, people were putting on jackets and cardigans!! Going to the pageant tomorrow so I'm sure we'll look forward to somewhere cool after being there.

Driving out to a cache today just outside Kununurra I noticed the outside temp gauge in the car was reading 42 degC.  Spent the next couple of hours in the motel pool. 8) 8)

Adelaide has just had the hottest November day on record - 43 degrees celcius \:D/

It was 47 at Ceduna today. Not to worry their temp for tomorrow will be 21 degrees cooler.

It was 47 in port Augusta yesterday, no doubt much hotter today.

Today has seen fires near Curramulka on the Yorke Peninsula (Rocky Glen Grommets territory) and there was an unfortunate collision between CFS trucks that were tending to these fires!

What is the broad outlook for late next week down Victoria, particularily the Mt Macedon area? As a sunny Qlder enjoying 28-30C, i'm not sure of how the weather patterns work down South so any ideas would be greatly appreciated. 8)

Do i pack my woolly blanket or the fire blanket? :-k

I was wondering how warm the Riverland was getting today. Only 41.3 in Adelaide .

Good thing you have the digital weather station. The thermometer might max out tomorrow and Monday .

At least it keeps all the muggles away in parks.
