Well, tossed the coin, went for the cache, pleasant drive in the A/C car, drove right up to GZ, walked 2m, grabbed the cache and FTF :D Not too hot at all.

I drove to within 183m of a cache late yesterday afternoon but with the car telling me it was 43 outside the car I left it for another day

The only time I've been outside today was an hour ago to get some ice from the beer fridge ... 1800 and it's still 43 outside

At least we don't have any fires nearby unlike those in Gippsland

Was out caching from 7am till 4pm this afternoon. It was hot, and at a cache that I completed beside a river it was extremely humid. The urban ones I had to complete weren't too bad, the longest run was about 160m. Always nice to get back to the airconditioned car though.

This will probably be my last day of caching in the heat; the only reason I did it today was to pick up a few more finds for the competition!

If I had the money and nothing on over the weekend, I would travel down south just to experience this.

If you had nothing on, you might feel a bit cooler but you'd risk a nasty sunburn!

SsssBOOM! Thankyou, thankyou, I'm here all week, try the veal.

I dropped the kids at the Ice Arena yesterday afternoon and did 8 caches for the afternoon.

It was hot but whats a bit of sweat, adds to the character of the logbook.

Forecast for tomorrow is for 38C, which wouldn't be bad except it's also humid enough for a thunderstorm in the arvo.

And odds are that I'll be driving a bus with evap "air conditioning"...

Adelaide has just had 6 consecutive days over 40 degrees. That apparently hasn't happened for 100 years.

And now, tomorrow is going to be humid (in the evening) as well as hot. Crikey

I hope our friends across in the Garden State are getting those fires under control and are keeping cool.

It was 41 degrees on my balcony this afternoon at 4:30pm, so not sure how the BOM forecast their weather.

Guess who is having a birthday event in their honour tomorrow in Barmera?

I'll almost be the same age as what the expected maximum temperature will be.

We've already relocated it from the foreshore to the pub - maybe we need to find the local iceworks and relocate it to there!
