Hmmm...

I thought I might have stirred a few up here.

Looks like the 1 point system might stand

I wouldn't say that. You made a goo point. Discussions are under way. Looks like there might be variable points, but let the discussions continue for the moment. I'll be back (time permitting) Tuesday.

I just thought there would be something from other competitors or would be competitors through the forum.

What do you think Dik? Are you in the game?

Maybe it could be scored to reflect the difficulty of the cache the TB is in.
eg Difficulty x terrain rating of the cache that the TB is in. That way if your TB is in a 5/5 cache then you get 25 points as oppossed to a 1/1 cache= 1 point. Makes it fair in case your bug gets stuck for a while.

To me its about getting to the finish line first and completing the requirements. Not so much as a tb that doesn't make it home but has the highest score.

But remember there are 3 prizes on offer. Line honours, point accumulation and distance travelled.

Personally I would like to get there in time for the event. It would be a very boring race if it was over in 2 weeks.

Challenge 7 states that it is mandatory to be logged into the final cache so you still have to cross the line.

Check the new points on challenges. A change to make the game more exciting than just 1 point per challenge. Can you get your Travel Bug mover to get your bug somewhere worth a few more points? Only time will tell.

Thanks to the people who made suggestions. It's made the game a little more exciting.

Just a quick reminder to all competitors!

Less than two weeks remain for you to get your TB/Coins to me if you want to take part in the race. :!:

So far only 4 have arrived, with 3 more promised to be on their way to me.

As for me, pretty excited about the looming holiday to Africa with a caching stop-over in Singapore!

Studit's Lucky TB Racer was first to the start line at Delboy's house.

This might be a sign of its form to come. :P

Which reminds me, I bought a boomerang keyring to use for this. How have others done it - listed the rules/challenges on the TB page? Anyone care to post a link.

I believe finders wouldn't be able to see the rules on cachinggames if they aren't members - or am I wrong about that?

Everyone can see the rules and challenges, so just refer to the site.
