Just wondering what others thoughts are about kids that are part of a team that now want their own membership,

Should they be able to log the caches they have already (on the dates they were there) been to or should they revisit the caches to sign the log with their new user name,

What have others in the same situation done in the past,

They were there (and, be honest, probably found more than their share!) and should just log them under their new identities.

I don't see why. You were there and he was there and possibly she was there as well. Why can't you share?

Lets face it. Can you both honestly remember who found which cache?

This is really your decision to make as there are no rules!

The debate would be along similar lines if a number of individual cachers were to join together and form a team. Should they log each of their individual finds under their team login?

You do what you believe is right.

Nothing wrong with them logging under their new name. Have often thought about that problem when have taken friends caching. They didn't go on with it so not an issue. Or when I was minding kids in Adelaide and took them out a few times - they loved it.

After all why start again when they have already found the thing, or it might since be disabled/archived?
