Winter in the northern hemisphere seems to be a popular time for it to occur. Most are from northern Europe, but our Canadian friends seem to join in.

I can see that point, but at the same time I think leaving it listed at a traditional does not solve the issue that caused this cache to be removed.
There is still the possibility that people would enter the area thinking there was a cache there, not everyone reads the description before going after traditional caches.

Perhaps it is time to bite the bullet and pull the pin on Lane Cove. There are many reasons but if it is being obviously misused then pull the pin.
