We were watching it!
In Tassie we found a cache where they placed the engagement ring in the cache and popped the question like on the show.

Hi guys,

We videoed it as we were head down tackling the second puzzle cache to arrive in Cairns. So I guess we will get to rewind as often as we like to make sure we don't miss any of the action. Bit like those Geotalk videos.

We had taped both Packed to the Rafters and All Saints. So,this morning we fast forwarded All Saints to about the half way mark.It was nearly the perfect dialoge except for one missing follow-up line as he is standing by the bed, whilst holding the ring.
He should have said.."she thought we were just going on a simple geocaching trip..(then)..and you know, i am really keen to take her to the Mega Event in Wagga Wagga in 2010."
Someone within the cast or crew must have some knowledge about geocaching. Its a pity the scene didnt show the couple on a cache hunt in the bush finding the ring.Great advertisement for geocaching.

I am friends with a writer for City Homicide (same network) and she asked me to take her caching last year to see what it was like. She had an idea of working it into a storyline for her show, perhaps they recycle ideas between programs?

I missed it, I was busy watching "Rush".
Mum's cousin was the guy who got shot in the first 5 mins of the show, while being a decoy for the underworld bad guy.
Probably would have flicked over after that if I knew that caching was on TV.

I was in Sydney attending a course & I had been telling fellow course attendees all about geocaching earlier in the day, so it was amazing to see it mentioned on All Saints. I think the writers must be American though  (at least there was a happy ending!)

thanks for that but since the audio is out of sync, you kinda think someone has dubbed over the top or its like one of those Hong Kong / china videos

but my question is what if someone beat her too it.. wow what a trade.. toy for ring !!
