I'll have to see. I could quite well be in Europe at that stage gettin' all those Euro-caches...

At this stage The Spindoctors will be in attendance (2 adults, 1 child). We 'may' stay on site.

This sounds too good to be true, a Mega in Oz, one that we can actually attend!!!

We'll be there for sure, travelling to Wagga with regularity already.

For sure 2A & 2K, maybe 2 extra adult tagging along some days.

Not sure if we'll bring the van & stay there, or commute from Lake Albert daily, could go either way, too far out to tell yet.

An activity suggestion the better half had was to get a rock-climbing wall, either through Scouts (Warrnambool Scouts had one, not sure if hired), or hired. Put a cache log at the top. The idea being you HAVE to get to the top (without ladder) to sign the cache log, at which point you can log the cache proper.

Excellent pandpp. Good idea, we will add it to the list and look into it.

MEGA UPDATE

After only 10 days we have almost 200 people and 80 teams from all over Australia & also NZ.

So far, there is almost as many coming from Qld as there is from NSW & Vic, so they have really done well.
It's time for the other states to show they have the numbers too.

At this rate we are likely to get to the magic 500 by Easter 09 with a year to go before the event.

Good work all, and keep those team names & numbers rolling in.

Not sure if this is on Roostaman's agenda, but previous Mega events in the US have held a poker night. The admission cost was a geocoin, and the winners took home the loot.

BTW - Roostaman and his professional mates are banned from competing.

Just as a suggestion to everyone, make sure you email, facebook, skype, etc every caching friend and make sure they RSVP.

Not sure what I'll be doing so far in advance. But I hope it's approved. Good luck!

Freddo the fancy fine finding amphibian will be there. Other amphibians may also venture east.

Do frogs have teeth?

Sounds like a great weekend - i'd like to say yes now but will need to confirm closer to the date. Definitely 1 adult... possibly 1 or 2 others also.
