I'd certainly like to go - probably just by myself, but may have 1 extra.

We knew the gentleman cacher on 2 wheels would give in eventually. We will make sure to beef-up the "Event Code of Conduct" to make sure that bike only does 5 KPH at camp.Mr Coffee will snip the fuel line once the owner is out of sight. Cheers and welcome.

I will try to organise myself to attend, if it is just me (which at this stage it is but hey, alot can happen in 12 months) I will probably stay a hotel/ motel or b&b.

Sounds fun!

Hi Greg,

It'll be great to catch up with you - I really miss going for all those new caches in Melbourne's eastern suburbs only to find you've been there before me at 4:00am or thereabouts (oh yeah, I really miss it - not  ).

As for Mr Coffee, I'm not the least bit worried by him - I'll just hang a few teabags on things I don't want him to go near (or splash a bit of Gatorade around) and it works the same as garlic/holy water does with vampires. If he gets really troublesome, I'll just spike his coffee with raspberry cordial

Ah Wagga - that's not far! - Put me down for 1 adult (definitely), and maybe one more, and up to 2 kids.

With a burst of entries in the last 10 days ,the new revised tally appears like this. 480 individuals, about 191 teams which is inclusive of 140 kids.
These numbers are intended attendees and do not include any extras where a team said they will bring more
We now are getting very close to that required number of 500 ,to gain Mega Status and the 100 % approval from "The Ump" in Western Australia, who, i can assure you is watching and monitoring all posts.
The state team entries sees NSW =56 (includes committee)...VIC=52 .... ACT=24....QLD=21....SA=12.....TAS =9.....WA....5.....NT=2......plus 1 team from Ireland, 4 from New Zealand and 4 from The USA.
Just a reminder once again, if you are thinking of updating your camping equipment leading up the Easter 2010 ,to try to think of our major sponsor .The camping store name in Wagga will be revealed at release time .There will be maps of their store location, and a Mega Event camping specials list and other discounts all included in the free gift pack on arrival at registration,or if you go there first prior ,that has been arranged too.
Well done Australia so far for an incredible response from teams far and wide including places long distances from Wagga Wagga and remote towns. The City of Wagga Wagga will open its arms to welcome all teams ,whilst the Riverina Geocaching Committee will put on a display of community spirit and friendship that will be unrivaled in Mega History. We have only mentioned so far the "Fireworks Spectacular" as one part of the weekend but when the full 2 day and night itinery is released ,it will be the envy of all USA and World Mega Events.
Greg President Riverina Geocaching Committee.

With the Orange Angels of South Australia entering on the Geocaching .Com forum last night ,the new total of 489 edged even closer to the required 500 target.

My maltese cousins, pikkidiedu, who are recent caching converts will be in country at the time so count them in as well (2 people and possibly 1 doggie).

A MEGA event. At Easter. Sounds like a good reason to drag my relucatant caching partner out for an event. And I've got more than a year to convice her. Count us in for 3.
Should be top fun

500+ cachers in the one place. That will be mind blowing.... :o
