Another great video, now this all looks very familiar. The Old sod also took some great video of alpini, altaire and myself our visit out to cliffHanger.

Yes, it is my natural state. At least my knee is no where near as painful as it was when I hobbled to that one. But by the time I got back to the car, I had to pass on the next couple of caches as I could hardly move the knee.

A top cache in a top location to be sure!!

That sort of caching makes me extremely jealous. Will be definitely planning another trip up that way again some day. There is too much fun to be had.

We watched this one last night, looks like great fun! I take it that you didn't have to use the crossing as I don't think the cache was 5 terrain (I may be wrong).M<P>I really want to get more into this kind of caching after the weekends cache!

No, you do have to use that crossing, otherwise you would have to find a way across the rather steep and deep canyon below you. That's why the climbers have put the crossing there. You would have to do a very long route to bypass or cross the canyon somewhere else. it does not show up just how deep that canyon is. Poor Daves camera was stuffed when we shot all that and could not handle extreme bright scenes, just like when I wa at the cache.

If you think that was fun - Episodes 11 and 12 contain two more excellent caches. They will be appearing in the next few weeks.

Webby, just about cleared the backlog - only Ep 13 to edit. Just in time for some more shooting this spring. Think I'll get a harness in preparation.

Hobnail canyon was about 25m below, you could abseil into it but it would have been very scrubby on the way down. You would then have had to swim across the canyon and find some way of freeclimbing back up, probably not possible as the walls of most canyons are sheer.

I could show you a photo of north Bowens canyon, nearby which I've done but I don't know how to upload the image on to the forum.
