[OT] Your Band's Debut Album

Post by cdmark » 29 May 08 9:05 pm

OK..time for another silly game. Again, this is one I found on another forum and I found it mildly amusing. So,

1 - Go to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Random
The first random Wikipedia article you get is the name of your band.

2 - Go to Random quotations: www.quotationspage.com/random.php3
The last four words of the very last quote of the page is the title of your first album.

If you want to do this again, you'll hit to hit refresh to generate new quotes, because clicking the quotes link again will just give you the same quotes over and over again.

3 - Go to flickr's "explore the last seven days" http://www.flickr.com/explore/interesting/7days/
Third picture, no matter what it is, will be your album cover.

Put it all together, that's your debut album.

Not sure if it will be a best seller. But it has a kinda spooky feel to it.
A bit like Paul Simon's Rhythm of the Saints I think
8)

Kongolo Mwamba
but you still precious

I can imagine the reviews.
"An interesting mix of African traditional music combined with classical Tolkien melodrama that creates a music not unlike being funnelled toward an unknown darkness of transcendental bliss that leaves the listener wanting more"...Rolling Stone

That's gold mcphan. Some reason I find that one very, very funny indeed. Even the pic blends in. Nice.
