Interesting. My caching name brings up endless pages - I didn't check that aspect before choosing a caching name.

My real name brings up precisely 3 results - 2 book reviews written for a former employer, and a letter to a newspaper.

If I search my first + maiden name, nothing comes up. Maiden last name alone brings up heaps about a Russian violinist to whom I was somehow related.

First name alone produces pages of results, including a page with my name on it in wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ELISA

As well as being an acronym for something to do with an enzyme, there's also an open source, cross-platform media center: http://elisa.fluendo.com/

Bet my parents never imagined all that way back when they named me!

My real name brings up 700 000 results, about such things as "my" gold-medal winning Olympic swimming career, "my" Wedding and Portrait Photography business, "my" career as a research scientist, also a singer, a doctor who is an Australian of the Year recipient, a convict transported to Norfolk Island for theft of a piece of printed cotton, a yoga teacher...(only up to result 30)...but nothing that I could find about the real me...it seems I"m dead common!!!!!!!!! Maybe that's why I chose a caching name that's a bit unusual - just caching stuff in those results. Phew!!!

This is an evil thread. Last time I googled my name I found I had been nominated for an award for a story I had published. I didn't win, thank god. Now I find I've been nominated for another one. Now I'm going to be stressed out until I don't win again. At least this time the list is huge. It's a bit too strange to see my name on a list with people who's books I actually go out and buy  .

There are 427 000 hits on my name and I'm a lawyer, an american sailor, a irish school girl, an irish shop keeper, an award winning playwright -definately not me I couldn't handle the pressure- and a lot of old ladies. But the real me is on the first page.

I have 137 matches with my real name. Some are me on geneaology sites, my workplaces organisational chart (which I am at the bottom of one of the 'rungs" and a couple of presentations I have done to small pacific islands in my job! (thanks to a donation of sporting equipment etc etc..)

I'm also apparently a real estate agent, getting married in Utah, a reservist for the US Airforce, a left-handed baseball pitcher and even cooler a Bioterrorism emergency trainer.

Under the login name it's all geocaching!

My real name only comes up with one result when I was in a tenpin bowling team for the Queensland Corporate Games back in 2003.

My caching alias is also the name of a scouting group in Pennsylvania.
