Looks nice but how does it attach to the bike?
I need to make one too for mine.

Adapt something like this Image
You could use Ozi on the pushy and while walking to a cache

That is brilliant 8) ! I've been thinking about making one for myself (well, my bike...you know what I mean) recently.

That's a great solution. I'm not sure it would work for my GPS though - I use an eTrex, so without the antenna protruding, I'm not sure how well it would hold the signal from within the case? An experiment might be in order...

I just use rubber bands, but wrapped around the headlight that is already mounted. I also use a cheap small karabiner to attach the GPS to something else (e.g., brake cable) as security just in case the rubber band breaks. (In the photo below there's a TB on top of the GPS as well, and the karabiner isn't actually attached this time).

When I had my etrex I had an older style nokia phone case with the clip on the back.
Then I used an old cut down racing bike brake caliper, which clamped onto the centre of the handle bar and the nokia case cliped onto it.

I thought I'd try Pesky's idea of a camera case with cut outs - its hard to get a mobile case that fits an eTrex!

To mount it on the bike, I'm planning on attaching a piece of plywood or similar to the neck using a couple of U brackets. I'll cut slots in the wood for straps to hold the camera case on with. It should hold fairly securely and still be easy to get the GPS in and out for hunting on foot when necessary :D .

I've had the Garmin bike mount for two years, and it has been great, got it of ebay, but a look shows that they are not available now. You can get one from GPSOZ for $36.
