Re: Moveable Cache Race
I was wondering about that. I thought you were indeed a sappy sap.
Now that I know better, congratulations and best wishes.
Hey, you sound sober. Aren't you supposed to be rolling drunk on the wedding eve?
And what are you doing posting here?

Congratulations on the impending nuptials. May we all ask where they will be????Damo. wrote:Thanks yurt! Took me temporarily into the lead!
Wedding is tomorrow if anyone is wondering about the soppy cache name.
We promise we won't all show up with any moveable caches. ............ hmm but then on the other hand.........

Re: Moveable Cache Race
Glad I could help out the newlyweds!
On another matter is there a way to indicate that the caches are "in the hands of X"? At the moment they still appear on the map at their last location - it's only when you read the logs you can discover that someone has the cache. Perhaps a different colour on the map?
Mine seems to have gone missing if tronador couldn't find it.

Re: Moveable Cache Race
Yurt's isn't missing - I just went for a quick squiz and I saw it lurking under the bushes just waiting for someone to move it along.
Re: Moveable Cache Race
Thanks for the nice wishes guys! Unfortunately she isn't a cacher but she does tolerate me finding the occasional one when we are travelling. Should I grab petan's cache on the way to the airport tomorrow and take it to Japan.... Probably win at least one competition category but would be unlikely to ever be seen again!

For fun and enjoyment, check this one out.

Do yourself a favour and check the photos attached to the logs. They are a complete hoot.

Re: Moveable Cache Race
Okay I'm headed from SYD to Townsville on Wednesday, passengers welcome. However, if I take one out of Sydney it will reduce our population further as I'm unlikely to bring one back unless the one near Cairns gets a bit closer to Townsville.
About time some got here from other locales.

Re: Moveable Cache Race
You might consign a cache to a premature end of race up in Townsville. I don't know how many GCA cachers there are up there.
big dazza http://geocaching.com.au/cacher/big+dazza is up there and I think terrortorian is in Cairns. I think Cached http://geocaching.com.au/cacher/Cached is there on and off studying too.
Hey anything up there might get pounced on.

Re: Moveable Cache Race
Yes if there was a cache I could swap with there'd be no problem really. I'll be heading up there a few times in the next couple of months but the race may not last long enough.caughtatwork wrote:You might consign a cache to a premature end of race up in Townsville.
