I have a sneaking suspicion
Gneddy is about to make that goal about oooooOOOooo 17,000km closer
Also thinking he is going to be hard to beat for longest single move
Gimmi a minute...

Looks like Gneddy pushed it over the line!
He is also topping the table for longest move! (Just!)

Not quite to the moon.
There are two gnomes with false readings (due to fat fingered co-ords).
By 11:00am the distances will recalculate and we're not quite there yet.

Well. Someone should come take Gneddy Home then... he is hidden right next to Europe's Oldest Cache... GC43 in Ireland

What happens if no-one has picked up a gnome for 2 weeks (that we placed in a very suburban area - Wantirna).
Can we go back and pick him up and move him somewhere else so others will go look for him? We dont want him to stay there forever... that's not fair to the owner!

Fair enuf, I just feel sorry for the owner.
We didnt think it would be a "dead" spot when we placed it .... it's only about a 50m walk from where you park the car !!
Come on peoples..... go find Gnomor

I know how you feel, but there's not much you can do for it.
Luck of the draw.

MtnLioness I would love some more gnomes to move around the countryside but unfortunately it is a little far to go from far northern coast of NSW to collect your gnomes so I will not be able to help you this time.

But then we've travelled - well, the gnomes have travelled - 308,000km which is amazing!
You'll be able to add ~16000km to that total tomorrow when I drop off Mizaru (GA2870) near London. Unfortunately he won't be able to make the return journey until after the end of Jan.
Spent the last few days here:

My gnome Quilters Quandry has landed in the remote wilds of Nubeena for a move distance of 43.5kms and the road distance to collect him is about 150km I suspect he will be stuck until the end of the race and we go to collect.
