I have been instrumental in the deletion of this guys account. In the next day or so we should see him leaving the world of GC.com.

I may not be able to physically remove him myself but what I have to say goes a long way fast with TPTB.

Thankyou, Thankyou.....

embi has left the building

What is a charter member of gc.com and what does one have to do to become one? This guyÂ’s profile says that he is one.

BTW, what does TPTB stand for?

BTW = by the way

A charter member is someone who pays a subscription fee to GC.com

They can do a few extra things with the website like pocket queries, watch more than 100 caches etc. its about AU$60 depending on exchange rate.

TPTB = The powers that be.

BTW are you coming to the event in Ballarat on Sunday??

I thought that was a premium membership.

I've already got my name down for Ballarat. I think that Kate will be coming with me too. All the suspenseÂ… IÂ’ve never been to an event cache before and the mystery of this one is really intriguing.

Ok back on track.

This guy no longer has an account. He has been emailed and told to contact GC.com about it. His logs still exsist for the time being but very shortly all will be removed. If he wants he can create another account and relog genuine finds but any further annoyances and he will be barred completely. There is word around that it was his nephew.

I was going to ask what was going to happen to his caches? he was a prolific cacher setter with 150plus caches within 12months. Most seemed to be micro or moveable caches. and his "home area" was only a few states, mainly Ohio.

I presume they'll find out which ones are genuine and he can "adopt" them with his new user name

Plenty of faith here Embi but it still needed the Yanks to do something. Just had a great thought.......this will get embi on his toes......How about the 2 Dogs adopt the caches of SNIFTER so for the new people that didn't know that we are one and the same our count would make sense to everyone. Just the TB's and Cache placements.
