I agree with you David - poor form to log a cache as 'moved', giving it the appearance of being available to be found when it's actually not. I've been frustrated in the past (a couple of years ago) by an ACT cacher 'hiding' a group of moveables, which I dutifully attempted to find, only for 'finds' to later be logged by the 'hider's' normal caching partner.
On the flipside, I've had a special delivery of moveables to my hotel room in Melbourne by a local caching team, specifically providing the opportunity to bring them back to Canberra.

TD picked up 49 caches around Melbourne and took them up to Bendigo to there front yard. They where logging at 10PM at night. By 2AM there was a car out the front of there house with 2 people taking the movables from there front yard and handing them into the hard where a 3rd person loaded them into the car. It was good fun. Go raid them back !
