Hi,
We got a UV only one a few weeks ago from torchworld.com.au. Prompt delivery and good service support.

I got mine from this site: http://www.ledshoponline.com/uv_led_flashlights.htm
It was very good. I got the one at the bottom of the page and it is very good. You can probably find a cheaper one, but this is very good. And I think that the other one can do more things as well.

I have a 3w lithium 18650 powered torch in my cache bag and I will be replacing it with a keychain uv light once they arrive. I am getting a few of them. You can have one of those. In the mean time if you need a uv torch you can lend mine anytime.

Sounds great....not!Philipp wrote:- dealextreme: http://www.dealextreme.com/p/ultrafire- ... 123a-15456

Cons:
Buildquality just is awfull!
My switch broke down, so it won't work anymore only if I open it and connect the contacs manually, so really useless...
Other Thoughts:
The build quality of Ultrafire seems to be very poor to me, as i also have the torch "36356" bought here at DE as well...
The screw threads are not clean and the switches feel wobbly over time as well....

I can't speak for covert but I got the very same one: Works like a beauty. I never had any problems with it.Rigger64 wrote:BTW: @ covert how is yours is it as bad as the review??
Re: Cheap/Resnobale priced UV LED Torch
Very happy with mine too. Only problem for me is it is too powerful. When you know where to look for the UV ink you only need a single LED. However if you have to search an are, like a concrete wall for some UV ink a more powerful one would be suitable. I already have 18650 batteries and chargers so it was a natural choice for me.Philipp wrote:I can't speak for covert but I got the very same one: Works like a beauty. SKU 3248 "3-in-1 15+1 3xAAA Flashlight (10 White LED - 5 UV LED - Red Laser)"
That one looks OK. I personally don't like AAA as torch batteries but you already have a torch that uses them so it would be suitable for you. Customs might stop it since it has a laser on it and no proof of how strong the laser is.
PrincessDailia (sp?) has one of those.
For the 10 lots of 20 seconds you will need the UV torch for just about any UV torch will do.
The best UV torch to have is the one that you have with you when you need it.
Re: Cheap/Resnobale priced UV LED Torch
You can come past and grab one of these any time you need one.

Took it to Japan, y'know, just in case and I did find a use for it.......
To view the UV passout we got when we watched the sumos! Then again when we had passouts at Disneyland! haha
