Re: Cache Number GA2000
in the cache chuck in two of those kilometrico pens to sign the logbook with. should end up with 2000 metres of signatures then.
It's a stretch to fit in 2000, but yeah...

You are going to have to add in 10% for GST, i believe that was introduced in 2000rogerw3 wrote:
But 2000 cents would be a suitable FTF reward. That I can do, OK that's another 2000 to the list.
Re: Cache Number GA2000
You could award prizes for:
Second to find, forget the first to find.
Other prizes for the 22nd and 222nd finders.

Interesting concept!HHHEddy wrote:You could award prizes for:

Does that mean you could have a whole lot of cachers there waiting for somebody to sign the log first and then start a free for all to be the second.

Then they'll be two hours too late!Captain Terror wrote:Hopefully somebody finds it at 10:00pm...2000hours.
Re: Cache Number GA2000
I like the idea of a 8:00pm (2000Hrs) find but the spot I have in mind might be a bit tricky at night if not dangerous, don't forget it will involve a 2000m (return) walk to the cache with a little bush bashing.Captain Terror wrote:Hopefully somebody finds it at 10:00pm...2000hours.
I appreciate all the feedback, please keep it coming.

Re: Cache Number GA2000
My bad . I always use 24 hour time tooCaptain Terror wrote:Hopefully somebody finds it at 10:00pm...2000hours.
Be even cooler if it's only available as a cachers 2000th find too.
Re: Cache Number GA2000
This is a nice concept, 2nd and 22nd to find. Or should it be 2nd, 20th, 200th, 2000th to find? (Might be rather lucky to get that far).HHHEddy wrote:You could award prizes for:

Some of the ideas are fun but maybe getting a bit difficult, especially as it's supposed to be only difficulty 2. I reckon if I could only find it at 20:00 hours, I would have to rate it as higher difficulty after a 2km walk in the dark so I'd vote against the 20:00 hours idea.
But I love the whole idea, well done rogerw3
I actually managed to pick up the GA number of my birth year as we zoomed past so that was a nice surprise
