Imagine owning 25+ local caches being found by 200 people over the period. Imagine the owner logs?
If i had a micro I would be trying to replace it with a small now, so I could get a bigger log book into it.
25 x 200 = 5000 find logs.
YOWZA.
I am now going to DONATE a VERY SPECIAL prize for the local cacher who can demonstrate that they recieved the most find logs over a 1 week period from the start of the event.

A recent cache event in Toowoomba had 40 members attend and over the weekend there was about 1000 finds. There was a problem with one of the caches, the number of people finding the cache attracted the interests of muggles and cache container was ransacked. :(

So if the cache is in sensitive location it may even be worthwhile perhaps making it unavailable.

Or perhaps cachers should respect maintaining the integrity of the cache?

This obviously excludes attended logs on the event itself.

The Mega event is rolling along, and at an exciting stage for all now ,and it will be a very busy March,April,May finalising all details .Especially areas of Wagga Wagga City Council,Insurance companies,Wagga Wagga Tourism,Merchandise Companies and the full package of the Mega weekend.

We are very fortunate to have been positive last Sept-Oct to book and reserve every possible detail and in a huge logistical way as well as allowing for massive numbers. Our committee is fully aware that if one aspect was not booked by this Easter, regulars in certain items tend to book components a year out.So ,we were prepared.

We have been in contact by phone with Homedg and he will be involved with sponsorship in one way or another.Thank you for your generous private offer on the phone and details of the deal will be streamlined into the event by committee.
For paegle boy: Our committee decided to conduct all the information with Spindoc. We have told you this by email.Could you please just take your time with the spelling, capitals ,and punctuations.Just clicking on the submit button once is good too...many thanks.

The committee has a plan in place for concerned teams about huge logs streaming through local computers.1/ We cant avoid that. Its going to happen....It also occurs at world events. We have also calculated 20 % of teams have been in the Wagga Wagga region and will tend to stay around the campsite and only do a few caches.Whilst we also realise there will be teams who will be here for a cachathon .We figured most will do something in between. But ,our plan will be released later .

At this stage, keep your Caching friends informed with the event as there is only a small percentage who frequent the forums and are unaware its on.Thank you for all teams kind positive responses as the momentum builds to this very friendly event involving a great worldwide geacaching family.

Yep it seems the caching world needs to know the answer to the following, Whats in the Itinery?

Its not so much as what ,but where???
The secret Itinery is now located in the safe housing of "Fort Knox" in the USA.If you can get it,its yours !

If the voting of the event went a certain way,the event was very close to being..............called.............

Coffee Beans Mega Event.
It would have been so good too !!
On display in the halls would have BEEN the BEANS of the world.Including Colombian,Morrocco,Kenyan,Jamacian and in the corner "the rogue" BEAN,...The Rainforest Allianze Bean !

The camp menu would have featured "Baked BEANS" with the side of String BEANS.....Desserts for kids included Jelly BEANS.

Demonstrations and sales of various coffee tables would have created interest with hardwood tables, glass top tables, tables with draws and even the collectors model of the "Decaffinated coffee table".

But the true great moment would have been the surprise guest for Mr Coffee .His Autograph pen and paper waiting, tear in his eye and then the crowning moment of the appearance of the great "Mr Bean".

OK its official. I informed the Chief Financier via Email of THE Event - (he is on FIFO and I couldnt wait for him to get home) :)

I calculated from Google Maps the distance for the round trip at 7556 kilometres assuming we dont make a wrong turn or deviate. Lets make it a round figure of 9000 by the time we head out caching along the way.

I was working the fuel bill at around 19 litres/100klms but decided to give that one up as it could be a bit scarey   When we arent towing the van it is less - OK the van will be on for most of the way.

The Boss had already done the sums and ordered a brand new GPS to celebrate so......

2 adults - one Jeep and a caravan please. We are set up to be self suficient just point to where we can park :)

Now... How many other West Aussies are going to join us. We could have ourselves a CONVOY
