As i don't have the ability to play .m4a files directly from the links supplied, i don't listen.

Any chance to include some other common file formats to choose from?

We have listened to all the ones so far and think that you are doing a pretty good job overall. Enjoyed the video ones of caching in Japan.

I was able to convert the m4a file to mp3 in itunes. It is under the 'Advanced' tab and create mp3 version.<p>

That is on the mac. I think you have a mac?

Didn't know about this one till now, but do listen to the Geotalk podcast - http://geotalk.libsyn.com/rss. I'd be more likely to listen to Caching Australia if was available in rss format so itunes could download it automatically.

I listen to a LOT of podcasts, and I always forget to go download ones that don't have an RSS feed!

I listened to the first few caching Australias, but didn't realise you were putting them out weekly!

If you had included a 3rd option of "I've never heard of it" you might have a different response.

I answered no because I've never heard of it, or if I had I'd forgotten about it, not that I've listened once and never again or chose not to listen for other reasons.

A poll on a forum is not an accurate way to gauge how many listen to your podcasts. It would be better to check your site statistics for number of downloads etc.

Going by this poll, that is about 8 more than i would have listening to me. :P Remember it is not about the numbers. Enjoy doing what you are doing. :D

Paegle boy - you should use a proper podcasting service such as Podbean - http://www.podbean.com/

It's free and gives you stats.

I use Libsyn.com, which gives better stats, but costs US$5 per month.

The advantage of these services is that they create the XML feed, that allows listeners to automatically receive your podcast. Otherwise, people have to remember to look for them, which decreases the chances of holding on to your audience.

You should also get your hands on The secrets of podcasting, or search the web for tips.

E.g. http://www.ilounge.com/index.php/articl ... t-creation
