Entertaining Cache Logs

Post by cdmark » 20 February 08 5:26 pm

I really enjoy reading other cacher's logs and it is one of the reason that I tend to 'watch' the majority of caches that we have found. I must acknowledge the following geocachers as providing entertaining, descriptive, and humerous cache logs of recent:

farmers 5 and lady gecko - sounds like they had a ball on their MIA tour!

Romax - enjoyed reading their descriptive logs of our local hides

antpadgem - some great and imaginative logs on their Albury stint prior to Christmas.

Thanks for a great read guys! Cheers.

Is antpadgem the rhyming logger? If so, I like their style. Another logger I enjoy is Tangles, they always seem to make some sort of reference to nudity or yowies, both of which I hope constitute the fictional parts of their logs :D

Yeah. antpadgem is the rhyming logger, quite clever and witty. I will have to read some of Tangles - nudity and yowies - what an interesting combination!!!

I think the most entertaining logs I have read are the ones for Rhinogeos cache - "Bill and Hams Excellent Adventure" (GCW967) by Team Rubik and Rallywrxwagon.
Its an amazing effort just to complete the cache, but they put some effort into thier logs as well.

I know the log you mean Freddo because they were carrying valuable cargo of mine. They took my Mad Mullet TB and put him there. The log was like reading about an adventure of Gilligans Island.

GeoJnr and I have had a lot of adventures via logs on various caches, I hope when he's old enough to read he'll get a kick out of them and that his mum and dad will reassure him that very little of it actually happened.

I've watched this thread for a few days now and am surprised that Corey hasn't had any of his own logs nominated, so here's my all time favourite of his, although I am biased because I was there and witnessed/caused much of the confusion. (read the note first, then the log)
Anyone who can sprinkle so many 1980s pop culture references into their logs is doing something right. Corey's work on his recent Sunbury trip was also a pleasure to read.
