FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Finally, after 25 years, 5 months, and 10 days with the one employer, as of 38 minutes ago, I am officially UNEMPLOYED.
Can anyone top that time frame for working for the one employer?
Cheers

Yep. A bike accident forced my retirement 2 years ago after 38 & 1/2 years with the one employer and after a 10 month break I am now back working part time with the same employer in a slightly different job.Bundyrumandcoke wrote:Finally, after 25 years, 5 months, and 10 days with the one employer, as of 38 minutes ago, I am officially UNEMPLOYED.

Hope you enjoy that time off before the new job starts, bundyrumandcoke. The reluctant spouse spent over 38 years with his previous employer; I'll have to check the specifics with him.
He seems to be enjoying the change in jobs. He did have a secret dream to retire, but that was never going to happen.

My brother who sometimes comes caching with us just quit his job after 47 years and 10 months with the same employer, no name changes for the company either. Now, just only a couple of weeks later, he looks 5 years younger. So he can come west on holidays with us and help find a few more caches - many eyes make a cache easier to find (well, that's the theory!).
