Next week in Canberra...

Post by mjbnz » 13 April 05 5:36 pm

Hello!

I'm attending Linux.Conf.Au in Canberra next week (Arrive Sun 17th, leave Sun 24th), and am interested in a couple of things..

1) if anyone would like TB's to travel to NZ, let me know..
2) Are there any free garmin GPS maps available for this area? or perhaps one I can buy very cheaply for the week? (god, I dunno, we've got some nice free ones for the whole country here)

I'm passing through Sydney on the way home - I have almost all of the 24th there, so a map for there would be awesome, but not required... but, same goes for TB's to leave from there, I'm happy to assist.

Cheers,
Mike.

EDIT: (Whee! formatting here is crap!)

Oh, I suppose I should also ask if anyone's got some suggestions for good quick caches to take a peek at around ANU during the week... :)

I can go one better. I'll be at linux.conf.au for most of the week too, and we can go caching together, if you like? Will have laptop w/ maps and cache info all set up.

- Rog / Mind Socket ... by car or by pushbike

Ripper, sounds great - I'll be the one harrassing the organisers, since I'm supposedly lead for LCA 2006 here, in Dunedin NZ
