Top Service from GME Australia

Post by The Barramundi's » 29 November 07 1:21 pm

My Garmin 60CS has had a stuffed power button for ages, it finally stopped turning on last weekend. Had to go manual and use the UBD.

I have used a pen for ages to turn it on and off, I had been fearing how long it would take and the cost of having it repaired.

Dropped it off at GME Thebarton in SA on Mundi, it was sent to Sydney on Tuesdi, got a call from a tech on Wensdi, picked it up in SA on Thursdi.

A solder and a new button, plus the travel, only cost $50.60. After 2 years it's still going strong, as it now has a dual use, Geocaching and Chauffeuring.

Now I'll be able to afford the City Navigator Australia 2008 maps due in December, 6.5 is a bit old now.

WELL DONE GME

Cheers from BarraMundi
