Was wondering if anybody can help, We are off to the Uk in a few weeks and are looking for maps for the uk to use in a Garmin MQ4 gps/pda, so we can use it for navigating and if it can be done, put some caches on there so we can grab a few on our travels.
Any assistance/advice appreciated.
Cheers.

I have been doing some searching today for UK maps and have come across this map of the London Tube stations with caches along and near every tube station. This might be useful for cachers going into London.

TT6 should run on the garmin M4 - it is a PPC one isn't it? Certainly saved our marriage having TT6 round the UK.
Finding autoroute s/w without massive licensing charges will be a hassle for you.

I caught something about new ordinance survey raster maps a while back, but I think it was several hundred pounds for the license. Check the UK forums on the gc site.

try googling free maps for garmin in UK.
I recently went to Hong Kong with a free map. Pretty good. And went to NZ in Feb with free Kiwi maps that were super.
There are some great sites out there with free mapping. Just like shonkymaps here.

I'm currently looking at getting Garmin's City Navigator Europe (includes UK). $279 at
www.gpsoz.com.au or
www.ja-gps.com.au.
Unfortunately both are out of stock. Can anyone recommend another vendor of Mapsource products?

When you get there, it is called "The Underground", not a "subway" (and I ain't talking about the sandwich shop!).
Thing I can't work out is, why is half of The Underground not?
And the section from Heathrow looks like a mine shaft!
