just comparing the Hcx Vista v's Legend.. is the Compass and Altmeter worth the extra $30

possibly a good idea as you can't upgrade existing GPS with the extra $$ ... time to scan ebay.. unless there are any better or other places to buy

my vista came the other day.. still getting to grips with operation as its a whole lot different to the basic etrex..
Does anyone know where its documented the specs for WP data format
eg how long can they be on this model?
I think from what I count its 12 but from my scan of owners manual it doesn't offically say.. ie WP name and WP description/note
