another PPC app Smache

Post by mtrax » 25 July 07 8:10 pm

FYI
A couple weeks later than I'd have liked, but it's finally here - Smache version 1.0, all-in-one pocket pc paperless caching application. The major fixes are a faster import, support for landscape and square screens, better international support and removal of the registration and nag screen (which were added in so I could teach myself how to do it, Smache will be free).

.NET Compact Framework 1.0 with Service Pack 3 is required to run Smache. .NET Compact Framework 2.0 can also be used. Units sold with Windows Mobile 2003 or later have .NET Compact Framework pre-installed, but you may have to upgrade to service pack 3.

It looks interesting, so I'd like to try it out,
but the download doesn't seem to work today.

I have downloaded it and tried. however it crashed about 1/2 way through a filter. If you want me to e-mail the zip files PM me and I'lls send them across.
I liked the speed of the GPX load. Better than Cachemate which I currently run.
It creates a lot of DB files
The Cachepage is rather bland compared to Cachemate, butthat may be purely a preference.
