TomTom OffRoad Navigator

Does anyone have experience with "Offroad Navigator" for the TomTom?

Has it helped you locate caches?

We have installed it but the 'Setup' screen baffles us plus it seems very difficult to use.

I've used it to bag my first 45 finds, and in general it works pretty well.

It does have a couple of bugs that seem to kick in when you are near a road on the loaded maps. Even in "real" coordinates mode, I find the program locks your reported position to nearby roads. These limitations led me to save my pennies to buy a dedicated geocaching GPSr, which is unfortunate because hardware-wise the TomTom could do everything a geocacher might need (except perhaps survive being dropped in a lake).
