For Java application purposes, this phone is identical to the U8330 and U8360, so you can use the version for either of those phones. I'll add your model to the list of devices on the site when I next update it.

Fantastic work Kev.
My N95 arrived this morning, First app I installed was PPQ.
Couldn't have been easier. Cant wait to use it while caching.

Wow - thank you so much - this is absolutely terrific. I just downloaded a query into my motorola v3x.

Just a caution. I found it hard to find a safe copy of midway program until joined motorola developer thingo.

Then all too easy :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

I'm impressed!!

Just one observation - if the cache name is lengthy it takes us to much of the screen when viewing the cache details.

Is it possible, once the cache has been selected to only display the first x number of characters of the cache name so that only one line instead of 2 or 3 lines are used.

Hopefully you can understand what I'm trying to say!

Regards

Thanks for the feedback, Jardry! I definitely know what you mean. I'll take a look and see what I can do.

Jandry,

I have implemented your request in PPQuery 0.3.2 (just released).

Give it a try and let me know how it works for you!

I'll give it a go in the morning.

I currently have around 300 caches stored on my Sony-Ericson which takes up less than 1Mb of the phone's memory.

I also like the way you've implemented the logs and how you select a log to view its contents.

Now if only my phone had a GPSr built in and somehow where ever I was the nearest cache details would be available!!

The ability to store cache details on the mobile for opportunistic caching is fantastic.

Regards

Kevin,

downloaded new files and the changes to the GUI are great.

Horizontal scrolling of cache name is great. Maximum space for cache details.

Vertical scrolling of cache details is also great.

Fantastic work.

Regards

Good question! I don't have any information about this phone from a Java development standpoint. Do you know for sure that it supports Java applications?

If so, submitting your device profile to http://devices.j2mepolish.org/ would give me the start I needed to build a version of PPQuery that will run on it.

Thanks heaps for this development.

I downloaded 303 unfound caches to my Motorola V6 raza/maxx/ whatever and it works a treat.

Really impressed! :D :D :D

Is it possible to add a 'found' tick box to then exclude those caches from being display or remove them from the database before the next download?
Probably not, but worth asking....

About all i can give is that the phone is so new the 3 shops dont even have pouches or car chagers yet. Yes it does suport Java.
