TomTom POI for Palms
At last!
One of the few things I didn't like about TomTom on my Palm PDA was that there was no way to add a Point of Interest using coordinates rather than an address. I would occasionally use my Meridian's B&W line maps to get a rough address so that I could get driving directions from TomTom, which was something of a pain.
But a new plug-in for Cachemate's just appeared, and it'll export waypoints from CM to a POI file! WooHoo!
It's free and available from PalmGear

Oh, same here, it's part of my macro that sends files off in all directions!Webguy wrote:I always just used GSAK to export caches as a POI file.
But in the middle of a multicache, it's sometimes nice to be able to get driving directions to the next bit (or when solving a puzzle cache when away from the PC.)

Running on an i-Mate JAM. Running TomTom 6, Cachemate, Smache, Tracky & GPS2GE w/Franson GPS gate.

Different programs for different applications. TomTom to get me as close to the cache area as it can, Cachemate to find the darn things and GPS2GE so I can load my travels onto GoogleEarth. Smache & Tracky I use when hiding caches because they seem to give quite accurate coords.

Looking at upgrading to an O2 xda Flame, bigger screen, faster processor, more on-board memory
