G'day

For those who still operate in the dark ages, IE 7 is now out. Details at http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/default.mspx

Actually the vulnerability is a vulnerability in Windows that affects all versions of IE... and its not new... it was known months ago & just hasn't been patched yet.

If you use any of the Autodesk DWF or DWG viewers (as I do), don't install IE7 - it breaks these viewers.<br>

I like the websites that have dubbed it "Internet Operafox", since it's basically a catch-up to the features that Opera and FireFox have had for years now!

IE7 is fantastic, it's the first thing I use on a new Windows system to download Firefox :)

Now the drop down Tabs have gone funny :( You need fighter pilot precision to get the mouse over onto the drop down Tab without it disappearing

Now it's out of Beta, someone will no-doubt look at this in the near future.

Why on earth you would want to publish (or view) a drawing in .dwf is beyond me...

I wouldn't bother with this. I will just download Firefox 2.

You wouldn't expect Autodesk to say "Save it to .pdf and read it with ADOBE reader."

That's what we usually do anyway.

For those who have made the very brave jump to IE7 and noticed that the navigation tabs are somewhat hosed, there is good news in the wind.

I have a fix which will be implemented with the next software release.

Unfortunately, what that fix does is break the navigation tabs for Nestcape users who are on a version less than 8.

So regrettably when the next software release goes out if you are using a version of Netscape earlier than 8 you will need to upgrade. Shouldn't be too much of a hassle I hope.

That's what virtually everyone does...
I really don't want to start Autode$k bashing, it's late and I'm tired...
