Hi
I am very new to Geocaching and Palms for that matter.
I want to export from GSAK HTML files to my PDA.
I have done a query and then used Mobipocket but couldnt sort the inofrmation ,kept having to scroll.
Used Islio but the inofrmation was hard to read and had syntax (my terminology is shocking I know) and couldnt sort.

what am I missing .

Just want the GPX files to my Palm that is in a HTML format and that can be sorted easily.

any help gratefully received

You can have all sorts of index options in GSAK's html export.

What would you want to sort by other than Name, Distance from Home, Bearing from Home, Waypoint code, Placed by, Found by me date, With travel bugs, Un found caches, Found date, and Cache density?
(That's just what I use; there might be others!)

Then put that in Plucker or Isilo format. Adjust fonts to suit if it's hard to read.

Or use Cachemate instead of going via html.

GSAK is the best option for turning GPX into almost anything but if need a simple option to turn a set of GPX files into an easy to use indexed set of HTML files. You may like GPX2HTML

I keep a copy of this program on my Dads PC for quick last minute work when away from my PC with GSAK.

I used HTML for a while on my Palm IIIxe with Plucker but changed to Cachemate - and am very glad I did :D

I like to carry around the whole state in my PALM and with HTML it just took too long to create and install all the information I wanted

I'll never go back to HTML for caching on a PALM

Investing in Cachemate was the best $10 or so I ever spent on geocaching

Hi

A BIG BIG BIG thankyou to Rhinogeo and Aushiker for putting me onto Cachemate you have ended my frustration.

It is the best $10.00 I have spent yet.

Easy to follow, easy to use.

If a novice like myself can use it then anyone can!!!!!!!

Also thanks to others who provided other info very much appreciated .
