Garmin eTrex Touch 35 or Oregon 600?

I'm in the market for my first GPSr and would prefer a touch screen option. I'm tossing up between the eTrex Touch 35 and the Oregon.
As the Touch is a new product on the market I'm concerned that it may still have a few bugs which Garmin is still sorting with updates. However, I also like the idea that the Touch is new and would be more of the latest features. The Orgeon 600 (from what I've read) appears to have less bugs as it's an older model with a more stable platform.
Has anyone used both and can give me any advice?
TIA.

I'm looking at the same options, any update on your final choice.

Garmin's website makes it easy to compare different models' specifications. On the specs alone, the Touch 35 wins. It has more than twice the amount of built-in memory and most other aspects are pretty much equal. The Oregon 600 has better screen resolution. https://buy.garmin.com/en-US/US/catalog ... uct=113532 If you click the Blue button labelled "Show Only Differences" on the page that I've linked to, the comparison will be made much easier.

I went with the Oregon 650 and it's going well so far but there was a bit of a learning curve (I'm still on it actually). Love having a camera in the unit!

Photos are good enough for me to be used in cache logs.

Just not great in low light although it does have a flash.

I take that back about the low light photography. I just found some unlisted survey markers and used the 650 to capture them (I sound like I'm playing Pokemon Go already). The flash was intelegent enough to put out a pre-light to gauge distance, it then focused correctly and then took the image. Here's one of them - https://flic.kr/p/FVGp8C. They do seem to be on the warm colour side though.

My caching partner has been using an Oregon 650 for a couple of years. He finds that using the camera, with or without flash, drains the batteries noticeably quickly. Is that also your experience?

I'm not sure I've used that combo enough to comment (I usually take photos with the phone, especially on those occasions when a GPS is required in a photo), but it makes sense that using a high power usage thing like a flash would affect battery life.
