Garmin refurb question
While hunting for my first GPS I came across a current model Garmin at a very good price. It seems to be a refurbished unit. I've heard great stories about Garmin's service, but can I trust a refurbed model?

Re: Garmin refurb question
Contacted Garmin and got my answer:
Garmin does not authorise the sale of refurbished units and does not authorise any dealers to sell them for us.

Re: Garmin refurb question
I'd just get a new one. Garmins warranty and post warranty service is faultless.

Re: Garmin refurb question
Happily I bought an Oregon650 second hand on eBay for a great price (all good, nothing dodgy, although I did email Garmin about the shonky eBay listings I found and didn't hear anything back from them - and they're still selling!) a couple of weeks ago, so I'm seriously in the game now.
