Creating field notes from GSAK

Due to a lack of preparation and flat batteries, I ended up with a messy collection of geocache finds on multiple devices and scraps of paper. I've used GSAK to mark those caches as 'found'. Is it possible to export the found geocaches as a field note text file that I can them upload into geocaching.com?

Your can munge up a fieldnote file.

Not sure if GSAK does a fieldnote export per se.
If you look under FILE | EXPORT is there a fieldnote option?

I don't know how to use it but there is a publish logs in the GC API stuff in GSAK.

I already have about 30 odd logs in the field notes on gc.com. It's a bit messy. Plus, I'm not confident with the GSAK publish logs setting. I have already mucked up the database once and lost a lot of info (which took a while to recollect).

If you are worried about the database then backup before you run your publish then it's easy to restore, I use this feature all the time now

You could always try the macro called 'Create Field Notes" from the gsak macro library.
http://gsak.net/board/index.php?showtop ... st&p=51393

If you flag the caches as found and run the macro, it will sort the flagged caches and not the caches already found on GC.com

The text file can then be uploaded to GC and then you have once more chance to edit before publishing.
Good luck!
