help with google maps please
When I open a cache page on GCA and go to the right hand side and click on google maps the map of the cache area appears but no icons. Same in Sat view. Have I deleted something or a has another soft ware programme removed it. I am lost. Any advice appreciated please.

Possible solution: Make sure you are logged in (before clicking off to get the map, check the top right corner of the GCA page to see that you are logged in as oldfella). Sometimes logins drop out, and you need to log in again to get access to stuff.

What browser?
Internet Explorer is notoriously slow at rendering the icons.
Sometimes the GCA machine backs up as well.
Give it a minute or so to load up the icons and if it's still happening, let us know.

Re: help with google maps please
Thanks for the reply. IE8 on my desktop and Safari on my I Pad no problems. On my laptop with IE9 and OS Windows Vista they do not appear even if I wait 5 minutes. Would going back to IE 8 on my laptop help at all. Many Thanks.

Instead of going back to IE8, why not go forward to another browser entirely?
Firefox, Chrome, Opera... all worth a look!

Thanks for the assistance with this. Changing from IE to Chrome. And what do you know it works. Thank you

Strangely enough, Chrome (from Google) seems to work well with Maps (from Google!)
