Splitting pocket query

Post by totalube » 13 October 11 9:17 pm

Can this be done.

I have a pocket query and I want to split it up so each cache is saved as a separate file, naming each file the GC code

Thanks

I'm curious, why would you want to do this?

I have gotten a new mobile phone and it doesn't have any geocaching software yet. I can however look at HTML files. As the phone has a good search function, I was hoping to have each cache as it's own HTML file that I could quickly search for when I needed cache notes.

And as for software, what I am really after is a program that will read GPX files for paperless caching, NOT an intergrated geocaching app, something like smartGPX for Symbian phones.

Oh and the phone I have is the Nokia N9

get/use gsak to export a html file of your selected caches, all browsers will read it, paperless caching on the cheap

Will GSAK split a pocket query into individual HTML files?

GSAK will create a menu driven HTML file that you can then use to navigate to the individual cache page. It is one file but you can view the individual cache pages.

I used it on my Windows Mobile before I got a paperless GPSr.

Would you have a screen shot of the menu layout, just want to see how it is set out.
