Re: new GCA android app
Hi mtrax. Thanks for time and effort, and foresight I think, to create the polished looking GA Cacher app for Android.
Just an observation: On my phone (Motorola Flipout. Thanks PBL for the tip here.), the GA Cacher Settings page doesn't scroll up-down. Caused some grief with the little tacker screen showing the page to a bit below User ID text box level. (Auto-) Rotating 90 degrees showed the whole Settings page. Haven't seen this mentioned before so it mustn't be a major problem. Cheers.
Market, Search, ga cacher finds the app for me.

Re: new GCA android app
OK guys, thanks for letting me know the search does work - just not on my Android. A recent search worked fine so I'm at a loss to explain it. Will have to wait til I get to that page in the phone guide - only up to p32 of 243.

We know that web developers have difficulty with this concept, but it's a sort of book that came with the phone which
tries to identify features and enables them to be differentiated from bugs.

Oi
I was a programmer way before I was a web developer.
I always subscribed to the theory that "if it was difficult to write, it should be difficult to understand".
Manuals are for wimps
Tell me more of these "books" of which you speak. Are they ancient things, like printed with ink on papyrus? Are they available online? Can I read them on the device I am trying to understand? I do not understand this book concept.

I've made the setting screen scrollable and removed the ok/cancel button , you can update to version 0.11 and tell me how you go?PesceVerde wrote:Hi mtrax. Thanks for time and effort, and foresight I think, to create the polished looking GA Cacher app for Android.

I couldn't find this forum's Like button so until I read that page of the forum guide cum manualgmj3191 wrote:We know that web developers have difficulty with this concept, but it's a sort of book that came with the phone which tries to identify features and enables them to be differentiated from bugs.
(which unlike printed guides keeps changing;
so I restart on page 1 each day;
but I'm sure there is a way of finding out what has changed recently;
it's just that I haven't managed;
to get past the first few pages to find out)
[is that haiku?],
I'll have to make do with saying LIKE gmj3191. More than like, it does have a semblance of truth.
